South Shore Peer Recovery, 51 Cole Parkway, Scituate, MA

Registration is FREE!!

Just show up with your yoga mat, blanket, etc. and make yourself comfortable.

Yoga Nidra helps us dis-identify with our stressors for a short period while we recalibrate. During yoga nidra, we intentionally slow the brain waves down and guide one into an alert, restful state where the body can rest and heal.

It’s an incredibly powerful meditation practice bringing peace and stillness to a hectic life.

A few benefits

  • Restores a sense of calm, alleviating the fight/flight response in the body

  • Slows down brainwaves and reduces mental chatter

  • Reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression

  • One session is equal to three hours of sleep
